Privacy policy

Short version: we do not want your personal data, and the player works without any of it.

1. Who we are

Ontrepid Play (play.ontrepid.in) is an independent web tool that plays and downloads publicly shared TeraBox videos. In this policy, "we" means the team that runs this site, and "you" means anyone who visits it.

2. What we do not collect

  • We do not ask you to create an account, so we hold no names, passwords or profiles.
  • We do not ask for your TeraBox login.
  • We do not keep a history of the TeraBox links you paste. A link is used once to find the video file and is then thrown away.
  • We do not store, copy or host the videos you watch. They travel from TeraBox's servers to your device.

3. What is processed when you use the player

When you press Play, the link you pasted is sent to our server so it can ask TeraBox for the video's address. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) briefly processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages, stop abuse and keep the service secure. We do not use this data to identify you or build a profile.

4. Contact form

If you write to us, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply. We use them only for that conversation and delete old messages regularly. We never sell or share them.

5. Cookies and analytics

The player does not need cookies to work. We may use privacy friendly analytics that count visits without tracking you across other sites. If we show ads, the ad partner may use cookies to show and measure ads; where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent first, and you can refuse.

6. Third parties

  • TeraBox serves the actual video file. Their own privacy policy covers what their servers record.
  • Cloudflare hosts our site and protects it from attacks.
  • WhatsApp and Telegram only come into play if you tap a share button, and only with what you choose to share.

7. Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you (normally none beyond a contact message) and ask us to delete it. Use our contact page.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
